Our research in fundamental science through the National Science Foundation (NSF) has enabled us to develop new technologies in the visual analytics of infrared sensing. Through this work, our outcomes have allowed us to gain a significant number of partnerships that contribute to the foundation of our venture. This includes our bridge between fundamental science and clinical impact of our technology through Children’s Hospital Colorado through medical adviser Ann Halbower, MD and the initial clinical trails enabled by the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI). Other partnerships that we would like to establish are related to the following:
Medical device representatives and supply chain operations
Medical doctors and clinicians interested in pulmonological studies
Investments towards improving respiratory health in pediatric and neonatal care
In the completion of our 110+ in-person interview customer discovery process in the NSF I-Corps program, we also established several new connections with leading medical doctors including Amy Schell, MD, an Otolaryngologist from the ENT Institute at Case Western Reserve University and John Carter, MD, a pulmonologist, sleep, and critical care specialist at MetroHealth Cleveland.
